Turning Pointe Dance Theatre is a professional dance studio that has been serving the Fort Myers area for more than 10 years. The studio offers professional and recreational dance instruction in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, lyrics, hip hop, acro, and pointe for children ages 4 to adults. Turning Pointe Dance Theatre offers summer classes and has a full winter schedule. The studio has an annual Nutcracker as well as a spring production. Past productions have included Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, Swan Lake, Snow White, and Midsummer's Nights Dream.

Our mission is to train and inspire young dancers in all disciplines of dance, with a strong emphasis on ballet, which is the core of all forms. Turning Pointe provides students with professional dance instruction. We encourage the recreational dancer as well as the dancer who desires a professional career. Many of our students have been accepted for training at professional schools in the country, including Joffrey Ballet, Miami City Ballet, Baltimore School of the Arts, and the Alvin Ailey School in NYC. We provide an encouraging environment for our dancers, while developing their self confidence and technique.
